Types of tourism

Cultural Tourism:

Candelaria Tour:
The Historic Center of Bogotá is known as La Candelaria and still preserves the memory of the little town. Its narrow streets, its houses with roofs and eaves and the room Colonial hosted the Spanish and Creole aristocracy.
The area of the historic center of Bogotá is delimited by the streets first and 34 from the eastern hills to the Core Avenida Caracas. Includes three sections of the villages Santa Fe and La Candelaria.
Old doors emblems, porches, balconies, ornate windows and of course, its inhabitants ranging from the old "rolos" and "cachacos" and a young population linked tp academic or cultural activities.
It is an area combining different eras and architectural styles and a variety of buildings, some of which disappeared on April 9, 1948, in the episode known as "El Bogotazo."

There is a huge tourist offer in this area. All historical sights are centered in the old neighborhoods of La Candelaria, Egypt, Bethlehem, La Concordia, Aguas, Germania, Las Cruces, San Victorino, Las Angustias, Santa Barbara and Las Nieves, which melts at a singularly anarchic way,the past with modern buildings.
The current trend of return to the historic center, especially the colonial neighborhoods, has led to a recovery of public spaces, architectural goods and everyday life.
